On occasion, students encounter unforeseen difficulties that need to be resolved urgently. These might involve problems of an academic nature, requiring communication with university officials. Or they might be of a personal nature because of something that has happened off-campus. So, it is important that students have a way of reaching us quickly. Parents, too, might need to reach us to have some urgent issues resolved
We provide each student with an emergency number that can be called at any time if the student gets needs help with an urgent academic or personal problem on or off campus.
We provide local, in-China numbers for parents to call if they have urgent questions and concerns. These calls are answered in Chinese, and the issues are immediately referred to our American counselors for action.
We are there to help with taking the appropriate action if the student receives warnings from the academic institution, is in danger of being subject to disciplinary action, or is placed on academic probation for any reason.
