What are the age requirements?

You must be at least 16 years old.

Do I need a high school diploma?

A.

If you are younger than 18, you need a high school diploma. If you are 18 or older, you do not need a high school diploma.

I don't have a TOEFL or IELTS score. Can I still apply?

A.

Yes. If you do not have a TOEFL or IELTS score, or if your score is too low, you can still enroll in the program, but you will have to take some English courses before you enroll in classes for academic credit.

My TOEFL or IELTS score is too low. Can I still apply?

A.

Yes. If you do not have a TOEFL of 61 or above, or an IELTS score of at least 5.5, you can still enroll in the program, but you will have to take some English courses before you enroll in classes for academic credit.

What other proof of English proficiency do you accept?

A.

An ITEP score of 3.5 or higher; ELS Language Centers Level 109; Transcripts showing 1 year of academic coursework taught in English with passing final grades: US school, IGCSE O or A level results, English medium school, IB diploma.

Will you meet me at the airport?

Yes. We will meet you when you arrive and take you to your housing.

What is academic advising?

A.

You need to know what classes to take so that you will be able to transfer to a Top US university. We develop a complete 2-year plan for you, and update the plan each semester. We tell you what classes to take from which professors. We also help you communicate effectively with your professors.

Will you help me get a visa?

A.

No, we do not provide a visa service. But we can recommend consultants in Chia who have extensive experience in helping students obtain a study visa. Just get in touch with use here, and let us now you need a visa consultant. We will send you some recommendations.

Housing

Do you provide housing?

A.

Yes. Our fee includes 12 months of housing, either in home-stay or in furnished apartments.

Q.

What is home-stay?

A.

In home-stay, you live with an American family who can give you with a good introduction to the American way of life. They will also provide two meals per day.

Q.

Can I have a private room in one of the apartments?

A.

That depends on availability. Our fee includes a shared room with two other students in a multi-room apartment; double or private rooms are usually available for an additional fee.

Is there housing on campus?

A.

All apartments are located in less than 5 minutes walking distance to campus.

Yes, health insurance for the whole year is included.

What is not included?

A.

The only other expenses students can expect to incur are: health insurance; books, currently estimated at approximately $1,854 per year; food (students in home stay receive two meals per day at no additional cost); and transportation and personal spending, which will vary from student to student.
